Ingredients

  • Juice of half a lemon (fresh only — no bottled stuff)
  • A slice of raw ginger (peeled)
  • One cup of warm water (not hot, not cold — think bathwater warm)
  • One teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
  • A touch of raw honey (optional — especially if you’re fasting)


Instructions

  1. Squeeze the lemon into your mug — remove seeds.
  2. Grate or thin-slice the ginger — add it in.
  3. Pour in warm water — stir slowly.
  4. Add apple cider vinegar — mix well.
  5. Drink it on an empty stomach — ideally right after waking up.
